The Farm Cam Xtern-Cam® is a stand alone outdoor digital surveillance camera that captures high-resolution images when motion is detected within its field of view. The
images are stored on a removable memory card for easy viewing on a computer, using the supplied special card reader, which plugs into your USB port.
The Lithium Ion battery is recharged automatically by the built in solar panel.
There are 3 versions of the Xtern Cam - Black and White with infrared Night Vision, Black and White with covert operation (invisible infrared) and Colour which can see in daylight only.
The solar panel is capable of keeping the battery charged under normal conditions. In busy or harsh environment the battery will need additional charging. The camera can store up to 65,000 VGA images and will optionally overwrite the oldest images when the memory card is full to enable ‘set and forget’ operation.
Simply screw the Camera to the wall, turn it on, and walk away – that’s how easy it is. When someone breaks into your property, you simply check the memory card and then give it to the police as evidence.
